Recently Charly Boy has changed his name from Charly Boy to Linda. Charly Boy made this known during the Nigerian Idol season III launch. He said that he will return as judge on Nigerian Idol season III not as himself, but as alter ego Linda.
According to Charly Boy's rep: "Linda is his feminine side, that is the woman in him. It is that Linda that wears makeup. Linda directs him on how to be compassionate like women and also responsible for all the humanitarian works he had done over the years. Without Linda, he could not have done all that."
The judges for season 3 include Yinka Davies, Jeffrey Daniels, and Linda.
