A food vendor, Christiana Okunade, who allegedly assaulted her husband's concubine, was on
Friday charged before an Ibadan Chief Magistrates’ Court.
Okunade, 45, whose stall is situated at Ojo-Oba in Mapo, is facing a one-count charge of assault. The Prosecutor, Sgt. Olalekan Obayanju, told the court that the defendant allegedly beat up Taiwo Ajayi on January 31 at the Mapo Magisterial District of Ibadan.
Obayanju said that when Okunade got wind that her husband was having an extra-marital affairs, she suspected Ajayi and so attacked her.
