Nice One Turakin...! Atiku Gives N1.5m To Journalist Suffering Kidney Problem

Succor came the way of a senior staff member of the Voice of Nigeria (VON), Mr. Anselm Odo, as former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, yesterday made a contribution of N1.5 million to ongoing
fund raising efforts to support his treatment.
Odo is suffering from kidney failure and requires about N7 million for a transplant surgery for which the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Abuja Council, is carrying out an appeal fund.
Atiku who made the donation through the Head of his media office, Garba Shehu, at the council secretariat, yesterday, said he was moved by the plight of Odo, following the appeal of the NUJ, on his behalf.
