RIP...Chief Oluwole Awolowo: How he died..

Son of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Publisher/Vice Chairman of the African Newspapers of Nigeria (ANN) Plc., Publishers of the Tribune titles, Chief Oluwole Awolowo died on Wednesday at the age of 70.
According to a
 statement issued by the Managing Director/Editor -in-Chief of Nigerian Tribune, Mr. Edward Dickson, Oluwole died at 5.40p.m. at the Wellington Hospital, St Johnswood, London, following complications arising from a car crash that occurred on September 30, 2006..
The deceased has been ill for sometime. Between 2011 and 2012 he was on admission for about a year at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State.
He is survived by his mother, Chief Mrs. HID Awolowo, his wives and children.

    1. Why commiserating with yeye Oba of Ife? What's the relationship here? Plz just to inform you that HID Awolowo is still alive, btw his children exists.

  4. Everybody is entitled to his/her own opinion. However, Akamara's comment, commiserating with Yeye Oba of Ife, does not appear to me a comment of consolation. Let someone read between the lines. Nevertheless, I pray God will give mama the fortitude to bear the loss. God is unquestionable.
