The General Superintend (GS), Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi said individuals and nations involved in sodomy is committing great wickedness before God.
Kumuyi said this at the headquarters of the church while delivering a sermon at the recent National Easter Retreat organised by the church.
He said lesbianism and homosexuality is now widespread across the world as many countries are legitimising the abomination as part of the constitution, even some churches are ordaining them as leaders over Christians.
Kumuyi said:
” There are many nations, city and communities today like Sodom and the Lord is saying if you are living there don't join them in their lesbianism, homosexuality, idols, and escape for your life out of Sodom.
“When you come out of Sodom, you come out of the sicknesses, afflictions, poverty and sufferings into great health, prosperity and strength of the Lord. You may escape sickness, diseases, poverty and all the other ills here in the world but fail to escape hell on the final day, be wise and take heed today.
Kumuyi said the only way to escape this wickedness is to come out and surrender unto the Lord Jesus Christ.
“Come out of the fornication, adultery, lesbianism, occultism, homosexuality, robbery, kidnapping, suicide killing, drunkenness, smoking, witchcraft and wizardry and be free in Jesus name.
“You have a part to play for your glorious escape in now and the final escape into the kingdom of God. There is glorious escape from Sodom, great escape from sin and sickness and gracious escape from Satan for you today, just believe”, He added.
