Kidnapped French National, Francis Quollon, has regained freedom from suspected kidnappers after 11 months, following a massive man-hunt of his abductors by the Police in Katsina State in northern Nigeria.
Quollon, 63, kidnapped last year in Rimi Town in Katsina State, was on a routine official assignment in the area.
He works with Vanet company of France.

reporters at the Police headquarters.
He said that the man escaped from the kidnappers den on Saturday at Dan Magaji village in Zaria, Kaduna State and reported to a nearby Police station for safety.
He did not give details on how Ouollon escaped for security reasons.
The Police commissioner, however, handed him over to the French Embassy officials at the command headquarters in Kaduna.
“Arrangements have been concluded to fly the man back to France on Sunday,” he said.
According to the Mr. Adenaike, the kidnappers took the French national to Kano where he spent nine months before taking him back to Zaria for another two months until his escape.
“No ransom was paid to the kidnappers and the investigation into the issue is still ongoing,” he added.
