Popular Nigerian dance hall star Femi Sylvester Mayomi, also known as ‘Fada U-Turn’ is dead.
fada U-turn is one of Nigeria’s most popular 90s musicians with one of his hit track known as ‘Yetunde Mi Da’ and " and "kpakurumo".
He died today in a hospital around Okokomaiko, a Lagos suburb following a protracted illness as a result of a liver related illness.
The late U-Turn was from Kabba-Bunu in Kogi State where he first tried his hands on entertainment, working as a radio and TV presenter.He had a brief stint at NTA in Lagos, after relocating here, before signing a deal with Ultima Records which released his early albums.
He was survived by his siblings, wife Ajimoh and five children. He was 36 years old before his untimely death.
