The singer publicly declared that he is now a prophet of God, dedicated to doing the will of God. He made this announcement after he was being prodded by friends about his new found character. Soul E said, "the Soul E Baba you guys know is dead.

This Soul E is an instrument for God." The singer went on to add that 'it is not my fault God called me so….. I am now an instrument for God and God alone.'

He later reiterated his desire to continue doing good music stating that 'expect beautiful gospel songs from me soon'.
