CONGRATS! #YNWA: Suarez wins Player of the Year award

Luis Suarez poses with his PFA awards on Sunday evening.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
Luis Suarez has been named the Professional Footballers' Association Players' Player of the Year for 2013-14.
It marks an amazing turnaround for the 27-year-old, who almost a year to the day was caught on camera biting the arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic and banned for 10 matches by the Football Association.
Despite missing the first four games of the Premier League season through suspension, the Uruguay international is practically assured of winning the Premier League Golden Boot after plundering 30 goals in 31 appearances, as well as providing 12 assists for a Liverpool team which regularly blew the opposition away with their pace and attacking football.
Suarez won the award ahead of...
Liverpool teammates Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge, Southampton's Adam Lallana, Chelsea's Eden Hazard and also Yaya Toure of Manchester City.

CONGRATS LUIS!
