PHOTO: Asisat Oshoala becomes the first person to win BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year

Nigerian footballer, Asisat Oshoala has been announced as the first ever woman to win the BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year.

The Nigerian and Liverpool forward is the first player to win the new award from the BBC World Service, which is voted for by football fans around the world.
