Tottenham outcast Emmanuel Adebayor’s misery continues after Togo coach Tom Saintfiet insisted he won’t consider him for international selection anymore.

Adebayor failed to explain why he did not......

respond to a call-up for last week’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Djibouti – the latest in a long list of problems involving the striker.

It comes after the 31-year-old striker was left out of Tottenham’s 25-man Premier League squad for the present season.

Saintfiet said: ‘If you are dating a woman who does not want to respond positively, then you must look for another woman.’

The Togo coach lost patience with Adebayor after the latest saga in his career – suggesting all he needed to do was send a text message or an email.

Adebayor played and scored in a qualifying win against Liberia in June – his last appearance for his country – but expressed his disappointment to Saintfiet that he was overlooked for the captaincy.

Tottenham were keen to part ways with the Togo international during the summer transfer window with the club even attempting to sever his contract to remove his bumper wages.

The north London club tried to offload the striker to Aston Villa and West Ham on deadline day but both clubs were put off by his reported £100,000-per-week wages.

Share you thoughts....thanks!
