Policeman commits suicide in Port-Harcourt!

A police officer serving in  Rivers State police command on Tuesday
committed suicide in Port Harcourt.
Mr. Ben Ugwuegbulam, the command’s spokesman, confirmed this development, saying that the said officer  shot and wounded an Inspector, and afterwards shot himself on the chest. He said the late corporal and the inspector he shot were both on the same beat at the Platgeria Company on Plot 278, Trans Amadi area of the Port Harcourt metropolis.
The command spokesman explained that the two officers were rushed to Teme Hospital in Port Harcourt, the Inspector was responding to treatment, but the Corporal couldn't survive, he died later as he refused treatment.
 Meanwhile the AK-47 rifle used by the Corporal has already been recovered.
