2nd Fashola Lekki-Ajah tollgate
Concessionaire of the Lekki-Epe
Expressway, Lekki Concession Company, has said it will start toll
collection on the second toll plaza (Conversation Plaza) of the 49.36km
reconstructed road on December 16.
Continue after the cut....
This was disclosed on Wednesday, just as
the Lagos State Government said that it had completed a two-way
alternative route to cover the second stanza of the road for those
unwilling to use the plaza.
This is coming about a year after payment was introduced at the first toll point (the Admiralty Plaza).
The state government also had to create
an alternative route to bypass the Admiralty Plaza as requested by
residents before the implementation of toll collection.
The Conservation Plaza is built about 10km away from Admiralty Plaza, starting from Chevron Drive to Oluwanisola Estate.

I believe constructing two toll gates in a very short km stretch of road, including the high toll fare is dangerous and not humanly good for Lekki-Ajah commuters. Only time will tell.
Over to you Lekki-Ajah people!
Share your thoughts...thanks!

For real d second toll-gate doesnt make any sense at all, except in d case of fashola and his big father bola thiefnubu to milk lagosians dry. I weep 4 lagos state.
ReplyDeleteI 4got to mention Lai mohammed.
DeleteFashola is very wicked and heartless. We are not fools 2 4get the lASU school fees increament, 1st toll gate and using Military to quench peaceful protest in Lagos. Fashola is a wolf in sheep clothing doing his master's (certificate forger BolaATinubu) bid.
ReplyDeletePeople please pity me. I live at Langbasa Ajah. imagine me going to work every day at island paying this toll-gate thru bus and at the end of the day what is left in my meager salary? Abeg make una pity me LASG,,,abeg. The hard ship is too much and its telling on everyone. I have family to maintain. This is toooo much.
DeleteT ripple taxation for Lagosians unfortunately living around Ajah. Looking @ d pics above, you'll agree with me that their smile looks e.v.i.l. Someday soon these toll will one way or the other be dismantled.
